This course is designed for staff who are responsible for responding to safeguarding concerns involving adults working with children and need to refresher their existing qualifications.
All organisations that work with or support children must be able to act swiftly and appropriately when concerns or allegations are raised. Staff need to feel confident in their decision making, understand when to refer concerns to external authorities, and ensure that their responses are defensible, proportionate and in line with statutory guidance.
